Dress code
The dress code for the Annual Celebration is evening wear or a dark suit. Guests are welcome to wear academic insignia and decorations at the event.
For women, appropriate attire includes a one- or two-piece evening gown made of formal fabric, an elegant trouser suit, or a women's tuxedo. A dark suit for women may consist of either a trouser suit or a skirt suit. The color is optional and does not need to be black or dark-toned.
Formal, lightweight dress shoes are recommended. A small clutch or an elegant handbag carried by hand or over the shoulder is suitable. Festive jewelry is an excellent complement to the outfit. Hair may be worn either up or down, provided the overall style is formal and appropriate for the occasion.
For men, a dark suit consists of a black, midnight blue, or very dark grey suit, paired with a white dress shirt, a tasteful tie or bow tie, and a pocket square. Black leather shoes and long dark socks should be worn. A tuxedo is also an acceptable alternative formal outfit.
